    Mrkvonic gave a thumbs-down to the free edition of ROSA Linux. I think the judgment was well deserved. But to be fair, if you don't need proprietary packages and hardware drivers and like such, then the free edition will work. Otherwise, like with parent Mandriva and its successor Mageia, one should always install the non-free edition for best results.
