Rolls back

I am trying to install ESS trial. I keep getting an error and rolls back when it installs the drivers. I have no viruses,system is clean. I would like to d/l this and maybe purchase but i can't d/l. Any help?

Are you running the installer as Administrator?

Can you tell us what the error is specifically that you are getting?

 

Yes i am. It is only Eset that i have trouble with. Error says closong prematurely,try to install again. What i will do is d/l it again and take a picture. I have run all the uninstallers. Awhile back i had ESS.

 

Can't insert jpg.

ESET Smart Security setuo ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again.

 

What i can't figure out why i can d/l Nod32 Virus and not ESS.

Post created log file somewhere, in order that I can download it.

 

After install i go to reg. There is nothing there but default,regsz,value not set.
Windows folder says all that. Set, Run,etc. Has no values or other keys. Now what?

If you have problem with setup api log file, doesn't matter. It should be enough to create install.log file, what si described in 2nd part of the KB via "/lvx* install.log".

 

Can't find those. Did some checking and my windows installer was stopped. I started it and i wll see what happens. My eyes hurt.
