Expired test strips can be very dangerous. I had a family member that mistakenly used some expired ones one time and got readings that were way too high and couldn't figure out why he couldn't get his numbers down until he tried some from a different batch and got a reading of half of what the expired one said. Someone could kill themselves trying to adjust for these things. I hope the counterfeiter is appropriately dealt with.
