I was watching the "PBS News Hour" and some "security expert" showed video of someone on a hi-rise roof top with a 6 foot antenna pointed down at the street. He claimed that it was possible to skim RFID tags this way.
He did not say what kind of tags could be.
I did some searching and can't find anything about long distance credit card RFID skimming (this is the only skimming I worry about) and found nothing.
Is there any example and/or claim of successful skimming of current credit card RFID?

Current technology does skims maximum at a yard distance. 15 years ago the maximum distance was a foot. So I would not worry about it. A typical "monkey sandwich story" as we say in Holland.
