Actually, if the behavior of my own system is an indication, it came back for a bit (no connection error messages for a past day or two, then those messages returned today), but has gone dark once again.

I do have a query into Coldmoon for comment, so let's see what emerges from those in a better position to know.

    Hi All,
The problem was caused by our hosting service that managed to DDOS themselves when they failed to migrate our sub-domains following a routine domain renewal last week. By failing to properly migrate the subs, they inadvertently caused our software to default to an emergency process where the clients seek updates through our main domain rather than the primary sub-domain where our update, registration, and management servers are located.

This then caused an unexpectedly high volume of traffic to hit the host's data center which then effectively removed their ability to access the servers that include our main sites.

They responded to this by temporarily suspending our domains

We have cleared up the issue with them today and they are working to resolve the problems they caused as quickly as possible. I expect the sites and the servers to be back up later today or early tomorrow at the latest.

    Mike
