    Environment:

System = Freshly installed (2 days old) WinXP Retail (fully patched) +
    MS Office 2007 +
    McAfee Tops AV

Returnil version = Version 3.1.7779.5174-REL (Home Lux)

    Sequence:

From source machine (no returnil) remote into (via MSTSC) target machine (with Returnil installed but system safe disabled)

    Switch to local PC session

Right Click on any file on desktop (say sample.txt) / Copy

    Switch to remote PC session

Right Click on desktop / Paste

Remote machine reboots and the remote connection times out.

    Additional Information:

After reboot is completed the system event log shows:
    Code:
    Event Type:	Error

Uninstalling Returnil and repeating the above sequence works properly (i.e copies sample.txt to the remote desktop and no reboot)

I can repeat the failing test case varying source machines with same result.

Any suggestions or assistance appreciated... If additional information required feel free to ask (email = Moderator action: address removed for privacy )

Hi DMisener and welcome to the forums :)

I removed your e-mail address for your privacy. It is best not to post that kind of information in a public forum...

Please send the same report to support (dash) tech (at) returnil (dot) com and reference this thread.
