Retooling "Flash Killer?"

    I think the Flash Killer tool in SB is a good idea, but there's a problem...

    I'm a staffer at Newgrounds.com, which means I need Flash enabled. On the other hand, Flash ads are a pain in the arse, so damned if I kill it, damned it I don't.

    In a future version, could there possibly be a "safe list" of which sites may use Flash/Shockwave, and which may not?

    Also, some of the notorious video ads are java-based, as opposed to Macromedia-based, so maybe something could be done about that too.

    Just a suggestion from a typical user.

    Hi,

    While I agree that would be a useful feature, because of how the Flash Killer functionality is implemented it currently isn't possible. It's an all or nothing setting.

    But I'll see what I can do about developing an alternative. :)
