    Here is my scenario:

Made disk image of drive in PC A to an external drive.

Took internal drive out of PC A, placed in firewire case and connected to PC B.

Formated and partitioned drive from PC A using PC B.

PC B can open the image created from PC A. However, even though its mounted, it doesn't offer the drive from PC A as an option for a restore. It only shows the C drive from PC B.

Anyway to use image from drive in PC A to restore PC A?

    Hope that was clear!

    Thanks.

    Hello Alric,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/).

Please contact support@acronis.com and send us detailed description of the problem.

Could you please download Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to us?

Please also make screen shots of the "Restore Image" wizard when you try to restore the created image to the drive from PC A using Acronis True Image installed on the PC B.

    Thank you.

Well. I got it to work but I had to make the drive from PC A the Master drive. It appears that it will only restore the image to a the C:/ partition.
