    Hi there

I have problem with restoring only one par. form my image.

The backup is containing 2 par. C & D. OLD DRIVE

My restore is to a new drive, with containing 2 par. but I only want to restore my C part. from the container to the C par. on the new HDD.

I can't get it working probber.

    Regards Flemse

I don't see the problem. An image can only be made of one partition at a time so if you have only one image it would have been an image of either C or D drive (presumably C) not both. If you restore the image you will be restoring one partition whichever partition the image was made of.

    Hello Flemse,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

Please note that if you restore single system partition it is not guaranteed that you will be able to boot your new drive after the restoration. Since you are restoring to the new drive you may create the image of the whole old disk and restore it to the new one. After that you may delete the unnecessary partition.

    Thank you.
