Restore a Windows 7 image

    I've probably missed the thread but are there any issues with restoring a Windows 7 image using Acronis True Image. I haven't tried it yet.

    I've restored my Windows 7 partition a few times now and it was 100% successful each time. All restores were done from the recovery environment. I haven't tried starting a restore from Windows but then again, I never use TI that way anyway.

    I have both TI 10 and DD 10 installed in Windows 7 and everything seems to work so far.

    Just wrote it in another thread:

    The already discussed Personal Edition of TI 10 (available for free via acronis.co.uk) allowed me to backup and restore windows 7, countless times - without any problem (be it from within windows, be it from cd).

    But even older TI versions worked perfectly with windows 7 (though not running under windows 7).
