Can I temporarily quarantine a ZIP file, but then release it later without stripping out the contents?

What ESET product(s) are you using?

If you want to force a quarantine of a zip file, that should be as easy as simply transferring the file onto a separate drive (like a thumb drive) thus removing it from the system entirely. You can then return it to its previous location when needed.

If the file has already been quarantined, you can leave it quarantined and when needed exclude it from scanning and restore it to it's previous location. This shouldn't strip the contents of the zip file.
