It is with very great sadness that I inform you that CalamityJane passed away on 25 December 2015. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r30641248-CalamityJane-died-December-25-2015 Jane was a great and very helpfull and very friendly woman. She helped so very many people clean up their computers. She was well known in the security community. She was for many years an MS MVP. She was member here too at Wilders: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/members/calamityjane.1400/ My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to her family. I will miss you dearly, Janey! Thank you for everything! Rest In Peace Janey
I was very fortunate to know Janie' she was very much admired by her fellow mvp's but also she had a wonderful ability to get those around her irrespective of who they were involved which is never an easy undertaking. Janie was a very good security researcher and administrator of the well-respected Gladiator security forum It is always a great loss when you lose a friend and as those that have posted messages across the internet are at this time still in shock i know i am we will all be left with very fond memories of her My very sincerest condolences go out to her husband Dave and to their families and friends at this very sad time
I met Jane at DSLR about 10 years ago and we became friends. She, Mary (mers2) and Lisa (lilhurricane) convinced me to join the Security Updates Committee there. Jane disappeared after early 2012 and I've tried to find her for the past couple of years. Sadly, yesterday I succeeded and shared what I'd learned with her many other friends at DSLR and LandzDown. Again, rest in peace, Jane. My heartfelt condolences to your family and friends. Joyce aka onDvine
