Hi all. My first post after lurking for a while, so hope this is in the right place. Could anyone advise me as to how long eset usually takes to devise a cure for a trojan? I was hit about 3 weeks ago by a trojan. Nod 32 2.7x detected this. Could not remove. Tried various solutions proposed in this forum to no avail. Contacted eset on 14/1 and have carried out the various regimes suggested. Have run SysInspector twice and sent the relevant logs to servis[at]eset.sk as requested.(Last one Thurs 24/1) Is this sort of delay normal?, or have I just been unlucky to be hit with a real PITA? Cheers Craig
Could you please PM me your email address? We in Slovakia respond only those who cannot be found in our customer database or if a distributor asks us to follow up if he's run out of idea as how to solve it. In all other cases the distributor you purchased your license from should be able to deal with your query.
Thanks, Marcos. Unfortunately PM system is down at this time. Will check and send later. Regards Craig
Hi osa58, You must me a member for at least 24 hours and have at least 4 posts at the forums before you can send PM's.
Hi all, Don’t want to hijack this thread but I have the same qustion... Must have been about a week or two weeks ago I passed on to ESET a file through NOD 32 which may be a false positive. I download something from Sourceforge: http://offsystem.sourceforge.net/ And was also wondering on a response time. Cheers Webby
