Why does TI 8 enlarge partitions on new HD when cloning (restoring) from old HD?

The automatic partition sizes are not to my liking. Any way to change this?

New HD is 120GB SATA -

Yes ... don't select the automatic cloning method but instead choose the manual method then you will see that you can decide on the method of moving data from the old HD to the new and you have control over whether partitions are resized or not.

    Hello Coad3,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

When you clone the disk you may choose two ways of cloning: automatic (proportional) and manual. In the first case the space will be distributed proportionally among the partitions. In the second case you can distribute the new disk space manually, this mode allows you to manage partitions in the way you need, but we recommend this way only for professionals.

    Thank you.
