    Hi there,
Like many others I am having trouble getting the rescue media to work, when selecting the "Full version" it just gives the message "Unable to load Linux kernel".
I have tried the "quiet acpi=off noapic", also removing quiet does not give any output.
I have tried this on two machines to test. Both are Intel CPU with Intel chipsets.

What version and build of TI are you using?

Have you tried the SafeMedia (Safe Mode) version of TI?

Edit: Version is Acronis® True Image Echo Server® Trial (build 8,206)

Safe version does work but this does not provide support for usb media.

Reading other posts on this forum it seems apparent that there is a known issue with the rescue media iin some cases. It looks like the Acronis support team will PM a new ISO with the fixed version (please!)

Unfortunately there is no direct link to the fixed iso file so I had to create a new post.

    Update:
I went into the bios and disabled the on-board SATA Raid (ICH9R Chipset).
The rescue media would then boot into full mode.
    Hope this helps somebody.

I take it you were not using RAID, it was just enabled in the BIOS. Is that correct?

Is it now running in IDE Compatible Mode or AHCI?

I was using RAID a while ago, it was still enabled from then. Now both RAID and AHCI are disabled.
