Replacing Boot Sector

    If, as described here, I choose "Replace" for Boot Sectors in the On-Demand Scanner's Actions tab, where does the replacement come from?

    I'm asking because I use GRUB to dual-boot Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. I don't want the MBR to be overwritten with the Windows version.
