    Great read. That is also why I like it here at Wilder's as well. "Palancar" is not on my birth certificate!

    Except the Internet was never meant to be anonymous or private in the first place which makes the entire argument the article is endorsing to be moot.

    Who cares what the Internet was meant to be?

    Initially, it was meant to guarantee that the US could launch a devastating nuclear response, even after most civilian infrastructure had been destroyed. And after most Americans were dead, or soon to be dead from radiation poisoning. That is, Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). As in "Dr. Strangelove".

    But if we can make it private and anonymous, that would be really cool :)
