    Hello,
I have a 250 GB SATA disk. I took an image of a partition, burn it to a DVD and create a Boot Disk. However, when I boot my system with that Boot Disk to restore the image, my SATA drive is not recognized.

How can I restore an image to a SATA drive.

    Thanks

    Hello Burak Emer,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Acronis True Image does work with any hard drives under Windows, providing Windows can work with them; it does support all SATA disks and most of SATA controllers in stand-alone mode.
Please let us know the full model name of your motherboard and the controller your drive is connected to. Also please create sysinfo.txt file and send it to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread.

    Thank you.
