Hi all, last night I managed to delete my only copy of a 60GB TrueCrypt file container from a portable drive. The other copy was on my laptop's drive which was lost when I inadvertently installed Windows 10. I have used data recovery tools (Recuvva, DMDE Free edition and Wise Data Recovery) to recover the volume but it's size is 0kb and will not mount.

After searching the internet for a fix most of last night, and trying a number of things this morning, I have come to the conclusion that I'm out of my depth and would greatly appreciate some help.

I am sort of assuming you don't have volume header backups? I wanted to ask because some people make and have them but don't think to grab them at this crucial time.

Unfortunately not - I wasn't aware of them until last night :(
