Recommended VoIP providers?

Hi I have been trying to find some reputable VoIP providers but sifting through all the reviews and cruft hasn't been easy and while there is some worth while info there like on customer service etc there isn't so much on privacy (logging, policies, etc) so I thought I would ask if anyone has heard or has experience with VoIP providers. Any suggestions of good ones, or even ones to stay away from and hopefully why they are good or bad would really be appreciated!
