as per title i am looking for recommendations for a media centre that plays and records live TV. on windows 7 i was using microsoft media centre, but on windows 10 its no longer included. i have tried media portal 2 and am currently using it, but unless i am missing something i cant rewind live TV unless its recorded (i havent tried this) such as in a football (UK football) and somebody scores and you want to rewind and re watch it

VLC if you need something simple. If you have HTPC, you'll want to look at Kodi, Plex, MediaPortal and Moovida as possible replacements for WMC.
