Recommended encrypted + offshore emails?

Hello,

I'm looking from recommendation for an encrypted mail service like hushmail but located offshore and not compromised.

I tried many times searching on inet but can't hardly find what I'm looking for, I can find some encrypted one, and also offshore one, but not both ;/

I'm also looking for free emails, or at least one that accept something like Liberty Reserve

Last thing, I've read here some recommends mail.ru, but whats so special about it? it just seems to be a hotmail look like service but in russia, their website also located in usa, dunno for the email itself, can't see a description of their webmail, is it encrypted?

XeroBank Personal (US $35/month) provides good email capability. There is no web access (for security). You can only access the service via POP3 SSL/SMTP SSL.
