Recommendations for something similar to USB Drive Letter Manager only fiendlier

I've been playing around with USB Drive Letter Manager (USBDLM) and am finding it a very useful tool for managing many removable disks with multiple drive letters. It provides much more information than Windows alone; but, I'm having a couple of problems. First, when the USBDLM service is started the information for some drives isn't what it should be. Second, it's pretty complicated and seems to have been made for advanced techs rather than the average user. So I was wondering if someone might know of a similar tool that's a bit friendlier and works well? Please recommend tools you've personally used. Thanks.
