Hi, Is it possible to not display or to hide "Update Alerts" in the Recent Posts section? I have no interest in them, and it's a bit annoying when interesting topics get pushed back.
"Recent Activity" is the "global Activity Stream" (news feed). If you go to the setting "Your Account - Privacy" and select "Receive your news feed: Members Only", only members can see your posts/created threads/attached pictures in "Recent Activity". If i visit Wilders as a not logged in user i am able to see your post, so it seems you have selected "Receive your news feed: All visitors" If you only want to see the Activity stream of members you are following, go to: "Your Account - Your News Feed" If four successive posts were made in the same thread, "Recent Activity" is showing all four posts, "Recent Posts" is only showing the latest one. And: "Recent Activity" is showing the content of the post (or a part of). "Recent Posts" is showing that someone have made a post in a thread, but not the content of the post (to be exact, Recent Posts is showing you the content but only the very first posting of the thread - and only if you hover over the title with the mouse) In short: "Recent Posts" is showing in which thread a new post has been made (logged in and not logged in users see the same) "Recent Activity" is showing more detailled information and is showing each post/created threads/attached pictures/information like: a member has changed the avatar, etc. but only if the user has allowed it (=logged in and not logged in users might see different information)
