Recently , (past 5 days or so) acronis backups have been completing with errors. The logs are showing (0x40014 - acces to the file is denied) several times, followed by : Failed to write to the media - a possible reason could be low quality media (I have tested the disks and they seem fine as regards chkdsk, and this occurs on both the nas drive and local usb drive we use for backups) "Operation with partition "0-0" was terminated. Details: Write error (0x70004) Tag = 0x9D2DE1F088CBC4D4 Access to the file is denied. (0x40014) function = "DeleteFileW", filename = "\\?\G:\ACRONIS\Daily\daily.tib" Tag = 0xF35F747B3B21F8A4 Access is denied (0xFFF0) code = 80070005) Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64EDB8AF" I've checked the acronis services as suggested by another user on this forum, but still the same result. We are using Acronis®*True*Image*Echo*Server® (build*8,163) , with 2 scheduled jobs, one to a local 1tb LaCie drive, and another to a 1Tb NAS device.
