**READ** Crack Site

I went on this crack site and it downloaded all these files SiteFind, ISToolbar, Internet Optimizer.

And I can't get rid of them all. PLEASE HELP

 

I would say scan with Adaware, spybot and the free version of pest patrol and see if they get rid of them.

And for the future switch to firefox browser its free safe and can be installed alongside internet explorer. Trust me i once went to a dodgy site and it installed a dialer on my machine that raked up a phone bill of £300. Now that i have switched to firefox there is no chance of a reocurence.

hate to say it, but "that's what you get!" trying to download cracks will just get you a computer full of spyware, malware, viruses,........you name it. if you haven't already, try using spybot, ad-aware, spyware blaster, or any other type of spyware scanner to get rid of your problems. you will also have to do a virus scan to see if you're infected. you say you can't get rid of them all? what have you used to try to ger rid of them? here are some helpful links:

some may be removed from the add/remove programs list in my computer.

I would just like to comment on this. Many of these sites do fill their 'tools' with malware. I can't condone the use of such sites but I would just like to give you some advice. I can in no way stop you from going on such sites and so you no doubt may do again in the future. All I can say is that if you insist on going on such a site, have a decent virus scanner running, maybe ask friends about it first, see if anyone else knows about it or just read the terms and conditions of the site and see what is stated before you download anything.

Jimbob, I know of *decently* reputable sites which put WinAD adware on my PC...luckily eScan Xbases saves the day!

 

Use Microsoft anti spyware (beta1). Download it from www.microsoft.com

 

I went to freeserials.com yesterday to get a serial cheat and wound up with blackbox virus which silently installed itself when ever I visited that site. and nothing stopped it. not spyware guard or blaster.

 

Well, whats the lesson learnt, then?

I wouldn't say "no chance". I know Firefux is better than Intestinal Explorer, but it ain't perfect.

The Lesson Learned is dont do that cause the crack will be a big hole crack in your Pc.
