I was reading an old thread, my old posts, and - dang! - was I paranoid and a bit, eh, stupid. My posts show the evolution of my security array and my security thoughts. I will not give the entire evolving strain, just the end, then, result:

    AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5
    DiamondCS Port Explorer v2.110
    DiamondCS Wormguard
    JAP 00.06.006
    NOD32 antivirus system
    PGP Desktop 9.5.2.4075
    Prevx1
    RootKit Hook Analyzer 2.00
    Sandboxie version 2.64
    Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4
    SpywareBlaster v3.5.1
    Trojan Remover 6.5.6 6.5.6
    ZoneAlarm Pro 6.5.737.000
and a router, some Linksys, but I don't remember the model.

I recently dropped NOD32 because it used too much RAM. I replaced it with Prevx 3.0 NOD32 uses about the same amount of RAM as Sandboxie, Online Armor and Prevx 3.0 combined.Eset makes two good products I've used, NOD32 and the suite. They are a classy company; they gave me a partial refund with no hassle. I recommend their products and their customer service.

What I use now. No commentary needed; the past posts give context:

I don't think there have been any changes to WormGuard for several years now, but cannot confirm that as I stopped using it. ProcessGuard and WormGuard were revolutionary products in their day.
