re: Lack of Acronis support

    Just had a message from Acronis support that they cannot provide alternate links to trial versions via private message, so if you cannot get trial working via proxy or firewall suggestions ( they did not work for me) I would suggest you save time and seek an alternate supplier of software.

    Please be aware that we are currently trying to find out the common reasons why people sometimes can not pass the online registration step during the free trial version installation process in order to get rid of this issue in the future.

    If you encounter this problem and the recommendations provided in the respective Sticky Thread do not help then please make a screen shot of the registration screen (see the example in the above mentioned Sticky) and submit a request for technical support using Ask a question before you purchase Acronis software link. Attach the screen shot created to your request along with the link to this thread. One of our support engineers will certainly provide you with the most suitable solution (e.g. download link for the version that does not require the registration).
