I have disk director server and have used it b4 on windows 2003 servers to resize. All the other ones had standard pata HDs on the pri IDE chanell.
I now have a customer that has about a 2 yer old power edge tower from Dell. For some reason Dell made the boot/system partition only 12gig and the second completely empty partition 220 gig or so. I need to sesize the 12 gig. The partition is full so i guess i will need to uninstall some progs.
    1. WILL ACRONIS WORK IF I USE THE CUSTOM FEATURE AND INSTALL TO THE SECOND PART ?
    2. EVEN THOUGH THE DELL POWEREDGE HAS PATA DRIVES, THEY ARE CONNECTED TO WHAT I THINK IS A RAID CONTROLLER IN A PCI SLOT. IF RAID COULD BE A MIRROR SET COULD BE A STRIPE SET, WILL ACRONIS WORK.

3 SHOULD I BACK UP FIRST

    1. Yes
    2. It is working for me on my Dell desktop with motherboard (Intel) RAID controller and two disks in a RAID mirror configuration.
    3. Absolutely yes. Stuff happens.
