Hi We have been setting up a working enviroment for ipv6, including Microsoft direct access clientless vpn tunneling for ipv6, we have dual stacks (ipv4) aswell for servers and clients.

Our internal RA servers 2 of them win 2008 R2 with full ipv6 functionality.
Windows 7 clients are using ipv6 internally and thru Microsoft Direct access, but what I have noticed is that neither remote administration OR updates are actually using ipv6 in either case.

So i sent the local support a question regarding the ipv6 support and got a response that it should support it.

Doing a netstat -an on a client while updating shows no sign of anything but ipv4 activity towards the RA server.

Forcing a client off ipv4 completeley on the internal network leaves the client orphaned from the RA system with no communication for remote administration or updates.

So my interpretation is that there is no ipv6 support at all in ESET products or ?

Enviroment Windows 2008 R2 native domain, windows 7 Enterprise x86 and x64 clients, ERA server v 4.0.136 (yes I know there is a newer version) clients varies from 4.0.474 to 4.2.64

    Regards Göran Larsson
