    Hi

I am a registered user of TDS3 and have had no peoblems with it up till now.

I tried to do a full system scan today. It goes as far as scanning in c:compaq/eak (which i believe is the easy access keyboard) and then came up with "DS3 has encountered an error and needs to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem". This happened both times i tried a scan.

    Todays definitions in use.

Any ideas why it is suddenly not working please?

System is compaq presario 1.gb on xp home sp1

    Thanks

Hi there, can you try to exclude that file or folder from scanning and see if all the rest is scanned without any further problems?
After see what happens if you scan that folder or file manually.
Let us know please so we can look deeper into the problem to get it solved.

EDIT: is the EAK a folder with more files in it?
Maybe there is a specific file TDS doesn't like?
Did you change anything on your system, updating, patches, new software (un)installed, crashing, anything?
If TDS falls over a specific file there could you please zip it and submit to submit@diamondcs.com.au ?

EDIT2: found two places about it:
    http://www.google.nl/search?q=cache...ide/mso/bdd/bddpcimg.mspx c:\compaq/eak&hl=nl

But first find out which file TDS is jumping over all of a sudden, if nothing changed from your part.
