I got a couple of questions on VPN.

Let say I'm connected to VPN and I wanna do some FTP upload files to website. Is my FTP transmission covered (real IP not revealed)?

Is there any free/paid software out there to lockdown internet connection if my VPN gets disconnected suddenly while surfing?

I like the idea of anonyproz.com VPN but it's not free. Any free software out there that can chain VPNs?

    Thanks.

If you are using OpenVPN all your traffic is encrypted. Depending on who you choose to provide your vpn service you can have it disconnect your internet once your vpn connection is broken.

I'm not sure I like the idea of chaining vpn's because I don't want to add more overhead and latency. One or two hops is good enough for me.
