    Hi there,

does Acronis TrueImage (Windows program and rescue disk) support AHCI and if yes, with which version did Acronis introduce this support? And does Acronis TrueImage has to support each and every AHCI-enabled chipset on its own or is AHCI-support working for all chipsets where this feature is enabled?

    Thank you for your help,

    Tankred

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that Acronis True Image when run under Windows supports all hardware detected by Windows. The full variant of the standalone version of Acronis True Image (Acronis Bootable Rescue Media, Acronis Startup Recovery Manager) is Linux based and has it's own assortment of drivers for the wide variety of modern hardware. It could be possible that the driver for the particular device either is not added into the standalone version yet or the existing drivers do not work correctly.
Should you experience any problems using Acronis Bootable Rescue Media with your hardware, please follow instructions in this post.
Please notice that a support for particular technology has to be inplemented in a particular device driver.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.
