Hi, Does Paragon backup software include an option to schedule full backups rather than incremental backups? Does the software have an automatic delete option of older scheduled backups, ie keeping no more than a set number of backups. Can one add dates to backups when creating a shedule Are the backups always split in smaller files rather than a single file. Thanks
I use the cyclic option in B&R Home and keep only full backup with a retention cycle of three. All options can be adjusted.
Where is the "cyclic option"? I have HDM 15 Suite and it's not there as far as I know. In answer to your other questions (answers referring to HDM 15 Suite): 1. Yes, you can schedule full backups. 2. But, HDR 15 Suite OVER-WRITES older backups! see this thread. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thre...uled-tasks-overwrites-previous-backup.369837/ 3. Also see thread for manually editing date. Hopefully Paragon will fix this problem. 4. There is option to split (max 4GB) or not.
That is why I purchased B&R and referred to it. I never referred to HDM. Just do the compare at http://www.paragon-software.com/features_custom.html?p1=BRH14&p2=HDM15Suite&p3=0 In addition, I can split my saves or not; hence it is an option. (advanced)
