You know antivirus UNA? Whether it is good?
Well, UNA is not too good... Didn't test it myself, but never saw good results of it...
But, it has base almost 100000
Every vendor counts differently, so I don't think you should take 100000 very seriously.
The last time I checked, if I wanted to buy a license for UNA, they would only accept *gold equivalents* -- no credit cards, no PayPal, no RegSoft, no Digital River -- NOTHING but gold equivalents. I sent several messages of inquiry, but they never replied.
_http://www.antivirus-una.com/ - and then you can buy whit credit cards
but in that site can free download 3 month trial, I think, that's better ^)
But UNA was tested on http://www.westcoastlabs.org/ and got "Checkmark"
Detection is nothing to write home about; http://www.virus.gr/english/fullxml/default.asp?id=67&mnu=67
I notice their price has nearly doubled since they *went off the gold standard.*
Nice to know. What does it mean:
Independed testing, okay, but it only means In The Wild virusses get caught. No need for any other functionality, like heuristics, pro-activity, anti spyware/trojans, nothing on updates, system impact, or user interface.
It seems a nice enough certification because westcoast claims independency. But they have lots of Members. And, hey, by coincidence, aren't those the suppliers of the tested products?
Separate names with a comma.
