Since I have a 694 MB file on a cd-r ready to install open suse, How can I boot the live CD and start the install process and resize the partition?

I have always done it from Ubuntu, but never from a cd-r. Any advice is appreciated. Also, to boot into the hard drive with a lenovo, isn't it F12?

Should be f2. Some boards allow pausing POST with your pause/break key.
