My question is - would restoring a previous full image made with Macrium Reflect eliminate a infection that occurred as a result of a phishing attack. I heard the infection being installed; did a hard shutdown; and loaded a previous full image (minus the push button recovery partition) Scans with antivirus scanners show nothing.
If you restored clean system image, it should be clean and malware gone. Some remnants could still be present on non-restored partitions (if you have any).
