    Hello,

Is IE 7 beta 2 supposed to be safer tan IE 6? Does IE 6 have to be uninstalled to install IE 7 beta 2?

    Thank you

There have been a few exploits for IE6, which do not affect IE7.
IE7 has also better default settings, phishing filter. Take IE7 Tour.
No, IE7 will instal over IE6, but it can be uninstalled later, if you are not gonna like it.

Just to take this one step further, how about some feedback as to the stablility of IE7 Beta2 (any bugs)?

    Thanks!

Well, the last official IE7 Beta 2 is the fastest IE that ever was, that is for sure.
About bugs, there is a bug, that some pages (for 6 months I have found only 2 UNB Forums) will not open in IE7, in fact they will crash IE7. Firefox will not open that webpage neither (without scripts), like this one. There are also a few minor bugs, like position of images on some webpages and maybe something else, I do not rememeber any crash at all, just sometimes IE got 100% CPU on some webpages, but they can be closed, before shuting down IE. ;)

Thanks for the feedback. Guess I'll wait until Beta3 or the RC. ;)
