hi, this PC is used by 3 people, today one of us downloaded some things from www.winamp.com/

it's hard to know actually what was downloaded because the person uses computers very infequently, but he says it was only audio.

i know in the past there has been malware in some of the plugins from winamp.com, so is there any chance audio from the site might have malware? thanks :)

i havent heard much of any malicious winamp plugins but im sure they wouldnt purposely hosts any infected audio.

you should be safe. just do ur regular on-demand AV scans.

thanks, WSFuser. i suppose i should relax abit regarding Helen's computer  it's just that i spent so much time fixing it and getting it working that i don't want to have to spend more time fixing things.

i should also make it clear when i post under other people's names

no problem. u should also consider keeping an imaging app handy, it can save u a whole lot of frustration.
