Hi all, I'm trying to clean a computer for a friend. He is running Trend Micro. He originally had the Win7 Security Virus and that got cleaned off. Now his Trend Micro and Housecall both find a Trojan labeled Troj_SPNR.0CA312 and can't seem to remove it. Now Malwarebytes program and the ESET online scanner find nothing. I did an online search and found limited reference to this trojan and only on Trend Micros site. Is this a false positive or what? Any help would be mucho appreciated.

    Hello,

I would suggest making an ESET SysRescue disc to boot the computer from and then scan it from there, just in case there are some remnants of an infection that are not being picked up by the ESET Online Scanner.

    Regards,
