Question about SmartHide & Comodo firewall

I got SmatHide and i like it. it doesn't slow my internet connection

I did a test and it said i have my IP showing. Now i know u can't completely hide your IP but it shows a different IP from the one i have. thats what SmartHide is supposed to do right?

I use Comodo firewall and it shows me IP Address, Subnet Mask & MAC address.

And i click next and it shows what SmartHide shows.

Now does this mean when someone wants to find my IP address and where i live etc they will not get the right place?

 

When SmartHide is turned on it will prevent people from seeing your real IP address. What Comodo shows should not matter, Comodo will show your internal IP which should be different from what people will see through SmartHide. The point os SmartHide is to completely hide your IP address.
