I have the same issue as others where the TI Boot disk(full version) can't see my Intel Matrix Raid drives properly. It sees the mirrored drives twice and the striped drive as unallocated.
Tech support sent me an ISO with 8050 build to see if it would work with my ICHR8 motherboard. It appears to load properly but leaves me at a command line interface. Tried it on 2 different boxes same result.

Is there a command I need to input to get some kind of GUI? I'm sending the same question to support but thought I might get a quicker answer here.

    Thanks.

Did you try typing exit and pressing ENTER?

Yes, it kills the processes, exits and executes a restart. I thought maybe there was just a command I needed to enter to start the GUI.

    What about Ctrl-Alt-F1 through Ctrl-Alt-F8 ?
Those key combinations will usually switch between different Linux shells.

With TI 11.0 build 8027 I had to use:

    bin/product

With earlier versions you could use:

    exit

    or

    product

    Not great news,

Build 8050 seems to see the mirrored array properly but doesn't see the striped array at all. I didn't actually attempt a recovery as I'll wait till they have a build that sees my entire Matrix Raid.

    Asus P5B-E with ICHR8 chipset.
2-Seagate 320GB drives with Matrix Raid

Above motherboard is a mainstream chipset from a leading manufacturer and over a year old.

    2 things...

1- I should have looked into this further before typing my credit card number but TI9 supports my chipset so I assumed they would not go backwards.

2- Why is this not supported yet?

TI 11 lost support for most Intel RAID chipsets. It was probably an "oversight" or whatever you want to call it. TI 11 uses a new Linux kernel so they're probably still trying to get all the bugs worked out.

You might want to contact Acronis Support and request a copy of TI 10 to use since TI 11 isn't working for you. I think there's been others on the forum who have done that since TI 10 does support the Intel RAID chipsets.

They can, at least, provide a copy of ATI 11 Boot CD in iso form that use ATI 10 drivers instead of ATI 11. I got one of those and it is capable or backuping up and restoring. IF you have a usbmouse, you might want to ask to have usbmouse=off included in the iso.
