    Good day,

one can always read here about the "bad tests" performed by Mr. Marx. Usually, this is combined by the fact that Virus Bulletin's tests (the 'anti-virus bible') are much better.

If this would be true, I cannot understand why Mr. Marx is one of the top authors for Virus Bulletin. If you look at his website, he lists 14 papers/articles he has written for them already:
    http://www.av-test.org/sites/references_papers.php3?lang=en

You can also find two Virus Bulletin conference papers and he is also invited to talk about tests at this year's VB conference, see here:
    http://www.virusbtn.com/conference/vb2004/abstracts/amarx.xml

Isn't this strange? If he would really be a bad tester, noone would allow him to write for the 'AV bible'!

Hi! Since this thread has nothing to do with NOD32 I have moved it here to "other security issues;" as it does not involve "other AV software either."

For instance - some of the tests does not follow rules set by Mr. Marx himself in his papers...
