Question about leaked memory bug

i'm just curious if eset has resolved it in the new beta.

From looking at the message thread, it seems the cause is an error in Microsoft's Windows Filtering Platform (WFP), which is the technology Microsoft began providing with Windows Vista for network traffic interception.

As far as I know, Microsoft has not released a hotfix for this issue yet, but I am sure that once one is available the announcement will be linked to in this forum.

i only had this problem with the beta for some reason?

 

do you know if other antivirus softwares have this problem as well?

if it is a microsoft bug, why dont they fix it? vista was released years ago, that's strange; maybe some pressions from the antivirus producers or any related will be useful. Or is a problem specific with eset and not microsoft.

I know this mentions RDP, but it also replaces Netio.sys and fixes a memory leak. Maybe this will solve the problem?
