    hey guys,

I have a questions. Does KIS have a option these days to set it to automatically block all unsigned programs?

    thanks!

You can set the application monitor to 'Untrusted' Which block all unknown applications from running.

i think the op meant default setting in KIS which as i remember is to allow digitally signed programs to run unless you set it to ask for permission for any unknown/first use program.

Thanks for the replies guys! Yes I meant if you can setup KIS to block all programs that are not digitally signed. I will trial KIS and try it out, thanks!

from latest release notes I received today:
    Code:
    Kaspersky Internet Security provides
    the following new features:
    · To increase security of applications,
    Trusted Applications mode has been
    added. When Trusted Applications
    mode is enabled, Kaspersky Internet
Security allows starting only known and
    trusted applications and ensures that
    they are run safely. Trusted
Applications mode will be available in
September 2013, after an update to
    Kaspersky Internet Security.
so, this feature will be added soon in KIS14
btw, you can uncheck "Select action automatically" in General settings to be prompt for any activity from application.
