Question about Execution Control

    I have some question regarding execution control of Firewall or other apps.
    1. Can it detect Drive-by-download followed by installation of Craps?
    2. Can it detect if infected executables about to launch through drive autorun?

    If the drive-by download attempts to run an executable file, Execution control will prevent it from running. See here for an example:

    I was just deciding about a complete free security security suite based on
    Avast, Personal Firewall, Winpatrol, Sandboxie, Safe Online, (Macrium Reflect, VirtualBox, Returnil) + Common Sense
    Now I think no one can bypass it.
