    Greetings,
I've had NOD32 for about a year, using Blackspears settings, and all is well. My question is, do I need EMON activated if I don't use Outlook? I use Mozilla Thunderbird as my email client, and realize that IMON scans this application.
I apologize if this this has been asked before, but I didn't see any previous posts on this. Thanks in advance for any answers!

Short answer no....but you also will not see any "performance increase with EMON turned off."

    Do I need EMON?

Thanks for the reply Bubba! I guess I didn't phrase my search correctly. I'll leave it enabled.

You are Welcome and you should not see a problem with it enabled.
