question about avg and avg pro

    avg and avg pro do they use same virus signatures

    I don't use AVG but i believe they use the same definition and engine.

    Yes, they both use the same scanning engine and definition updates.

    There are however, some differences between the two versions and these are found HERE

    Overall, AVG Pro has;

    1. More options regarding downloading updates, faster servers and the ability to add additional download servers.

    2. More scheduling options and custom scan sets.

    yes to confirm what blackcat said they use the sane engines.
