I am running Nod32 12.1.34.0 on Windows 7 Home Premium, and I use Chrome. When I pull up an innocuous website I commonly use I receive an alert about tag.sp.advertising.com being blocked because website certificate has been revoked, and this started today. It just happened now on Yahoo Mail. What prompts this alert, and is it anything I should be concerned about? Is there anything I can do in my web browsing behavior to avoid getting it? Thank you!
ESET merely notifies you about the revoked certificate used by the website tag.sp.advertising.com. Here you can see that the certificate was actually revoked and is untrusted: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=tag.sp.advertising.com An administrator of the website should replace it with a valid one.
It seems to be connected to advertising platform. If you don't use an adblocker, you might consider to start using one.
Many forum members use ublock origin, although there are plenty others. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/ublock-a-lean-and-fast-blocker.365273/
