Qemu Persistance

    I have been using the Qemu virtual machine emulator for a while now, some linux distro sites have offered a qemu persistance package for their distros, Does anyone know how to get persistance for any linux distro? I know that you have to make an .image file or something like that. This is where I get my info: http://pendrivelinux.com

    I tried out running ubuntu from a Windows folder using Qemu a short while back. Looks like some tutorials there at pendrivelinux.
